Resumo253 The Activities of Lieven de Key in Haarlem by E. H. TER KUILE. It appears that Lieven de Key had been appointed by the town of Haarlem, on 28th. October, 1591, to be stone-cutter to the Municipality, before succeeding Willem den Abt, in 1593, as town's mason. De Key is held to have designed the new wing of the Town Hall (1620), and the writer deems it probable that the V(leigh-house (1598/58) may also be ascribed to him, which F. Vermeulen lastly attributed to Cornelis Cornelisz, of Haarlem. De Key can hardly have had a hand in the planning
