ResumoMagnetohydrodynamic flow between two disks, rotating with the same angular velocity Ω about two different axes, a distance a apart, has been studied under the action of a uniform axial magnetic field. An exact solution of the equations of motion is obtained in a simple closed form. It is found that the torque, experienced by the disks, increases due to the magnetic field. For large values of the governing parameters, thin boundary layers are formed at the disks.
