Resumo

A modification of the Balz-Schiemann-decomposition has been developed, allowing radiofluorination on n.c.a. level by using the BCl4- instead of the BF4- anion. Using p-toluidyldiazoniumtetrachloroborate as model compound the influence of solvent, anion activation agent and decomposition temperature were studied. Under optimized conditions yields up to 19% of n.c.a. p-fluorotoluene were obtained. This reaction may be a potential tool for obtaining n.c.a. 18F- radiolabelled aromatic compounds, that are not available by direct nucleophilic substitution.
