Resumo

The stability of superconducting phases in a two-dimensional t - J model is studied by using the Gutzwiller approximation (GA) and the X-operator technique (XOT). It is found that the d-wave and extended s-wave superconductivity is stable for low doping (scx ∼ 0.1) in the GA and in the XOT, respectively. Arguments are given that the latter approach gives a realistic picture and possible application of the extended t - J model to the superconducting oxides is pointed out.
