Pressure-tuning resonance between the vibron and the libron in CH 2 BrI molecular solid

Resumo

The pressure-tuning resonance between the vibron and the libron has been observed around the crossover pressure of 25 kbar for crystalline ${\mathrm{CH}}_{2}$BrI from high-pressure Raman measurements. By comparing the present results with those of ${\mathrm{CH}}_{2}$${\mathrm{Br}}_{2}$ (reported previously by one of the present authors) we arrive at the systematic understanding for pressure tuning of the vibron-libron resonance in crystalline methylene halides.
