Resumo125I-labelled membrane glycoproteins binding to Concanavalin A were isolated from detergent solubilized mouse lymphocytes which had been surface radioiodinated using lactoperoxidase. Major components with apparent molecular weights of 120,000; 73,000; 40,000; 34,000; 27,000 and 23,000 were obtained. IgM immunoglobulin constituted a minor glycoprotein component. Two μ-like heavy chains differing in carbohydrate were present in this surface immunoglobulin.
