ResumoThe Hawara Papyri. Some time ago Professor Petrie kindly placed in my hands for study the papyri brought by bim from Hawara in 1889, a number of which were published in bis book c Hawara Biahmu and Arsinoe' of the same year from Professor Sayee's copies. As this volume is now rare, it seems desirable to print revised texts of the more perfect among these papyri, with notes on a few others. The numbers used are the original ones of the previous publication. A. Extant Classical Anthors.15.Ten fragments in a large uncial band of the second Century A. D. (Sayce, p. 28).As M. de Eicci has pointed out (R. E. G. XV, 447), these fragments are from Xenophon Cyropaedia IV, 5. 41-44.There are remains of two columns, tbe top and bottom lines of the first being preseryed: the original height of the column was 24 lines, measuring approximately 20,7 cm.The cliple and paragraphus are used: also single and double dots.
