ResumoAbstract Tryptic inhibitory activity was detected in all species and cultivars of crucifers examined. When comparing the three groups of crucifers tested [(i) foliage of cultivated crucifers, (ii) foliage of wild crucifers and (iii) storage organs of cultivated crucifers], the foliage of cultivated crucifers contained significantly higher levels of tryptic inhibitory activity than the other two groups.
