Resumo

Titanium-containing silicoaluminophosphate (TAPSO-37) with the FAU structure has been synthesized hydrothermally. The TAPSO-37 product was extensively characterized by XRD, infrared spectroscopy (IR), UV–visible spectroscopy (UV–Vis), SEM, solid-state NMR spectroscopy and thermogravimetry. Incorporation of Ti into the SAPO-37 framework resulted in no significant change in the distribution of the silicon species. Ti4+ ions were most probably isolated and tetrahedrally coordinated in the framework of SAPO-37 crystals, as evidenced by UV–Vis. The stability of TAPSO-37 was studied in detail from room temperature to 973 K. After removal of the template, the structure of TAPSO-37 was remarkably unstable to moisture.
