Resumo

As a result of pretreatment with the known prostaglandin antagonist polyphloretin phosphate (50, 100 or 200 mg/kg i.v.), there is a statistically significant decrease in the magnitude of the oedema induced in Sprague-Dawley CFY rats by the subplantar administration of 1 μg prostaglandin E1.
