Recently, Fisher and Di Chiro (2) reviewed results of sellar measurements in patients with hypopituitarism. They commented that "a small sella turcica does not exist in adults except in dwarfs" and also stated that "reduction in sellar size has not been shown to occur except in recovery from pathologic erosions."
