Resumo

Here we look at the graf ti demarcations of areas of resistance in the cities. We started from a conceptual discussion about what graf ti, and in particular its interrelation with the geography through the concept of territory and its unfolding events in symbolic/cultural and resistance.Methodologically, we analyzed some pictures taken in cities of Brazil and Paraguay, trying think of them as against the of cial spellings of counter-formality, standardization in the back walls and straight lines, and counterhegemony. In this direction, we suggest the graf ti marks as cultural and politicalsymbolic expressions can also be counter-power, resistance to the order established by governments and/or hegemonic actors in town.It is essential to understand the discourses graphs in the city, that the territory can also be built as part of the scene and counter-symbolic power of individuals and/or groups that are opposed to society of white walls and fences of shock.
