The method appears promising in the study of unsaturated water flow, provided that the soil does not swell as water is applied, since measurements of both bulk density and water content can be obtained without disturbing the system. Water contents in a volume of soil about 1 cm. wide were measured to an accuracy of about ±0.5% by volume. Citing Literature Volume26, Issue1January-February 1962Pages 11-14 RelatedInformation
