ResumoThe phase structure of the ZN gauge model is studied with generalized actions in four space-time dimensions using Monte Carlo simulations and duality transformation techniques. The explicit phase diagram is shown for N = 4 and 6 as examples and the duality relation among hypersurfaces of phase transition is analyzed. We also discuss the phase structure with Villain and Manton actions.
