ResumoIn this issue of the Journal, Nonnemaker reports on a study of the likelihood that women will pursue full-time careers in academic medicine and the likelihood of their advancement to the senior ranks of medical school faculties.1 She tracked cohorts of women based on their year of graduation from medical school between 1979 and 1993.
