ResumoIn this article we intend to analyze the process by which the technique ceases to be an instrument in the hands of the human subject to make him an object, in view of its own remanufacturing or reinvention. For that, we'll analise how Hans Jonas examines the process of modern scientific and technological revolution, from six stages: mechanical Engineering, chemistry, electricity, electronics and biology. This process would make the modern era the era of disenchantment.Coupled with technological development, the author identifies the severity of the crisis that leads to the nihilistic neutralization metaphysical of the image of man, paving the way for his reconstitution through longer life, behavior control, and genetic manipulation.
