Resumo

Excitation spectra for the exciton luminescence has been measured in the exciton absorption band region and its lower energy part of 2HPbI2 at 100 K. The luminescence yields for the free and the “Urbach” excitons are constant in each of the free exciton region and the Urbach tail, but these values are different from each other. From the facts, it is concluded that each of the free and Urbach excitons is in thermal equilibrium but both kinds of excitons are not in the same thermal equilibrium. However, the luminescence yield for the exciton in the intermediate region is not interpreted in terms of the thermal equilibrium.
