ResumoThe present paper reports the measurements on space charge limited conduction in vacuum evaporated amorphous thin films of Se100−xTex where 0 ⩽ x ⩽ 25. Current, at high fields (∽ 104V cm-1), could be fitted to the theory of space charge limited conduction (SCLC) in case of a uniform distribution of localized states in the mobility gap of these materials. The results indicate that the density of localized states increases with the concentration of Te in a-Se-Te.
