Simulation Techniques and Applications

This book is a collection of papers given at a conference of the North East Polytechnics Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulation Group held at Sinderlin Polytechnic in England on May 2425, 1978. There is not much statistics in the book other than reference to probability distributions and occasional examples of analysis. However, the examples deal with the physical and engineering sciences and should, therefore, be of interest to some of our readers as well as the articles dealing with simulation principles in general. The discussion following each paper is included as is a general discussion session on the conference as a whole.
