The theories on the cationic polymerization of caprolactam, at temperatures above the melting point of the polymer, are compared and discussed. The results of fractionations and molecular weight distributions, carried out on polymers prepared with caprolactam hydrochloride as initiator under anhydrous conditions, are used as the basis of the discussion. On compare et on discute les différentes théories sur la polymérisation cationique du caprolactame aux températures supérieures au point de fusion du polymère. Cette discussion est basée sur les résultats du fractionnement et de la distribution des masses moléculaires de polymères préparés dans des conditions anhydres avec comme amorceur le chlorhydrate de caprolactame. La teoria della polimerizzazione cationica di caprolattame al di sopra del punto di fusione del polimero vengono confrontate e discusse sulla base di risultati di frazionamento e di distribuzione di pesi molecolari di polimeri preparati con cloridrato di caprolattame come catalizzatore in ambiente anidro. Die Theorien zur kationischen Polymerisation von Caprolactam bei Temperaturen über dem Schmelzpunkt werden miteinander verglichen und diskutiert. Die Ergebnisse von Fraktionierungen und Molekulargewichtsverteilungen, durchgeführt an Polymeren, die mit Caprolactamhydrochlorid als Initiator und unter wasserfreien Bedingungen hergestellt waren, werden der Diskussion zugrunde gelegt.
