Resumo

Various extracts of the different parts of Moringa oleifera Lam. and Moringa coneanensis Nimmo have been investigated for their antifertility activity in rats. Aqueous extracts of the roots of both plants and of the bark of M. oleifera Lam. are effective in preventing implantation. The results also show that the anti-implantation activity of M. oleifera (root) was consistent regardless of its time and place of collection.
