Resumo

At the moment, the biographic dates of 24 flamines provinciae Baeticae are known to us. They thus encomparse 10% of all possible officials from the end of the 1st to the beginnings of the 3rd century AD. The analysis of their provenance and their career and the way they were honored shows deviations from the lex Narbonensis and the Tarraconensis. These facts disprove the hypothesis of a common practise of the imperial cult in the three provinces of the Iberian Peninsula and are reflected in the townscape of the Colonia Patricia: There was no forum which was reserved for municipal or provincial affairs.
