Resumo

This paper discusses the use of images in the classroom and aims to demonstrate the quantitative results obtained from high school students and Normal Schools (Teaching) School João Cavalcanti Petribú, located in Carpina/PE, which showed to be efficient Geography and enjoyable learning making use of several images. Research conducted with these students have ratified the power of image in the global society and its contribution to the process of teaching and learning.
