Resumo

The results are given of observations of the cluster of galaxies A i658 at frequency i02.5 ~,~z using the radio telescopes Vostok--Zapad DKR-1000 and BSA of the P~ N. Lebedev Physics Institute. A chart of the brightness dis-~ tribution with resolution 48' • 26' and a strip distribution of the brightness of the cluster with resolution !0' were obtained. The flux and dimensions of the radio source Coma C were measured and an estimate made of the relative contribution to the radio emission of this source of the extended radio halo, the radio ~alaxies NGC 4869 and NGC 4874, and the pseudohalo. The flux of the radio halo is 26 • 4 Jy at the frequency 102.5 r~4z, and it measures ~35' • 25' It is shown that not far from the radio source Coma C there is one further extended radio source with flux SI02. 5 = 7 • 2 Jy and a steep spectrum with a ~ i~ The large extension of the radio halo is difficult to explain by rapid diffusion of relativistic particles from its center to the periphery and, thus~ it is necessary to propose reacceleration of relativistic particles in the intergalactic medium of the cluster~
