ResumoThe emission spectrum of copper has been observed in the regions 210–310 Å and 950–1330 Å. In the low-wavelength region 862 lines belonging to transitions between the 3d54p and 3d6 configurations in Cu VI have been classified while in the upper region 58 lines could be assigned to transitions from 3d54p to 3d54s. Of the 34 levels of the 3d6 ground configuration 33 have been determined, while 208 of the 214 levels in the 3d54p configuration and 13 of the 74 3d54s levels have been established. For the 3d6 and 3d54p configurations parametric fits have been performed. The parameter values obtained for these configurations are compared to Hartree-Fock predictions.
