ResumoIn Białołęka Dw orska 78 species o f Tachinid flies were recorded, this accounting for 27.5% o f these flies known from the M azovian Lowland.There were 56 species caught in the oak-hornbeam forest, 22 spe cies in the carr, 54 species in the mixed coniferous forest and 52 species in the moist coniferous forest.Each o f the habitats under study is dominated by another species.The tachinid flies were m ost abun dant in the oak-hornbeam forest o f Białołęka and in the hom ologous natural habitat.M ost o f the species recorded in Białołęka are widely distributed over the Palaearctic region.The tachinid fly communities o f Białołęka are least transformed in the moist coniferous forest and m ost transformed in the carr.Green areas o f the planned housing estate in Białołęka are likely to be inhabited by about 20 species o f tachinid flies, and the green envelope o f this housing estate, located on the site o f a moist coniferous foe st, by about 40 species. W stępRączyce w stadium larwalnym są parazytoidam i różnych bezkręgowców, a zwłaszcza owadów.Żywiciele tych muchówek są pantofagami, fitofagami orazfitosaprofagami.Formy dorosłe są melitofagiczne, a głównym ich pokarmem jest nektar kwiatów roślin z rodziny Umbelliferae i Compositae oraz spadź mszyc i czerwców.
