ResumoTo the Editor :—In the issue of theArchivesof November 1935 (vol. 32, p. 787) is an article by Robinson and Grauer, entitled "Use of Autogenous Fungus Extracts in the Treatment of Mycotic Infections." In their concluding remarks these authors stated: "A series of patients with mycotic infections successfully treated with autogenous extracts is reported." Also: "Clinical and bacteriologic cures obtained by treatment with fungus vaccine recommend it as a means of therapy for refractory dermatomycoses." These statements indicating good results are much at variance with those made in other articles, notably those of Traub and Tolmach (Dermatophytosis: Its Treatment with Trichophytin,Arch. Dermat. & Syph. 32 :413, [Sept.] 1935. Transactions of the Ninth International Congress of Dermatology, Budapest, Hungary, Sept. 13 to 21, 1935, p. 714).
