Resumo

This paper presents the realization of low-pass filters in finline configuration. The filter consists of a cascade of inductive notches in an asymmetric bilateral finline, and is designed through experimental characterization of notches and CAD optimization. A typical five-notch low-pass filter designed for a cutoff at 37 GHz and attenuation greater than 30 dB at 40 GHz meets the specifications with an insertion loss less than 1 dB in the passband 26.5–37 GHz. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
