ResumoWe offer to the readers of Scientia Traductionis this translation into German (with commetaries) of the short story “O Cônego ou Metafísica do Estilo” by Machado de Assis. In our commentaries we discuss how we interpreted and solved various of the translation problems we faced during the process.
