Resumo2009年3月22日から26日まで第237回アメリカ化学会が米国ユタ州ソルトレイクシティで開催された。同化学会のCellulose & Renewable Materials部門の2008年Anselme Payen賞に京都大学の中坪文明教授が選ばれ，その受賞記念シンポジウムが3月22日から24日に同部門で行われた。
