ResumoAbstract The Late Bronze Age-Early Iron Age tell Deir'Alla in Jordan was excavated by a Dutch excavation team. In layers belonging to the 15th, 13th and possibly 10th century BC three bifurcated spinous processes of the dorsal or thoracic vertebrae of humped-backed cattle were found, which indicate that humped-backed cattle were living in Palestine before the Persian Period.
