Resumo

Abstract In this paper we have examined and revised the treatment of charge transfer phenomena along the columns in discotic liquid crystals. Dynamics of molecules forming the columns is described by a simple harmonic elastic model. Different regimes depending on the ratio of a characteristic molecular oscillation amplitude and an electronic localization length, are examined. Keywords: DiscoticsHoppingConductivity
