He has been awarded the highest honor of the International Society for Performance Improvement by being named Member for Life. He also served as president for ISPI and was awarded the Thomas F. Gilbert Professional Achievement Award by that same organization. He has published 34 books and 197 articles on strategic planning, performance improvement, quality management and continuous improvement, needs assessment, management, and evaluation.
