ABSTRACT The seventh annual meeting of the Russian Library Association took place in Iaroslavl' from 12–18 May 2002. It included an exhibit at which 61 publishers and other companies and organizations participated. There were sessions on automation, standardized electronic cataloging, bibliography, library policy and legislation, national libraries of the subjects of the Russian Federation, and much more. The next annual meeting will be held in Pskov.
