Resumo

The self-consistent chiral soliton of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model is quantized by means of the collective coordinate method and the rotational moment of inertia is evaluated. For constituent masses around 400 MeV the nucleon-delta splitting agrees well with the experimental data. The contribution of the sea quarks to the moment of inertia is about 20%. In this region the isoscalar quadratic radius of the nucleon is reproduced as well and a clear valence quark picture prevails.
