ResumoAbstract A newly synthesized pyrrole derivative was used for enzyme entrapment on carbon or platinum electrodes by electropolymerization. Three enzymes were tested: glucose oxidase (GOD), tyrosinase, and choline oxidase. Contrary to other techniques using electropolymerization in solution, a drop of enzyme‐monomer mixture was deposited and allowed to dry on the electrode surface before the electropolymerization. This procedure enables one to control the amount of entrapped enzyme and to easily obtain multilayer assemblies.
