Resumo

A novel cylinder-assisted Maker-fringe technique to measure second-order optical nonlinearity profiles is introduced. Compared to existing methods, this technique improves the measurement ease, speed, and accuracy, and it allowed measuring fringes up to a record incidence angle of ∼89°, which is particularly important for the accurate determination of the profile of thin nonlinear layers.
