ResumoThis article intends to analyze the novel Clarice of Ana Miranda, through the concepts of historiographic metafiction and imaginary biography, because the narrative parodies the biography genre, emphasizing the banal moments of the character's life and focuses inside of narrated person and, furthermore, shows a fragmented structure composed by a series of intertexts with the work of novelist Clarice Lispector, protagonist of the book, which are used for constructing a mosaic of character at some stages of her life as, for example, the childhood and youth related to the first book of the author Perto do coração selvagem. Another important aspect refers to the reinvention of a great name of Brazilian literature through his work, and especially from the imagination of a reader - Ana Miranda - who creates "her Clarice" and from this discussion, debates of the creation of the production literary art, the condition of writer and women in society.
