Abstract A 17 year old girl who ingested possibly as little as 7ml of gamma hydroxy butyrate (GHB) presented to the emergency department deeply unconscious. Ambulance personnel had found her to be hypotensive with a bradycardia. Despite the fact that this drug may cause hypotension, seizures, bradyarrhythmias and coma, it is not a scheduled drug in this country.
