ResumoMolar excess enthalpies have been measured for hexafluorobenzene + triethylamine, + acetone, + diethyl ether, and + dimethyl sulphoxide; the values for x = 0.5 at 298.15 K are 649, −21.4, 94.0, and 1004 J mol−1, respectively. For hexafluorobenzene + acetone, the molar excess enthalpy is S-shaped. The results are discussed in terms of complex formation in these mixtures and are compared with the molar excess enthalpies of the corresponding benzene mixtures.
