Resumo77 NOTES AND NEWS THE DISCOVERY OF CEPHALOCARIDA AT A DEPTH OF 300 METERS 1) BY ROBERT R. HESSLER AND HOWARD L. SANDERS Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole (Mass.), U.S.A. As part of our current program of the study of benthic organisms along a transect from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, to Bermuda, a series of samples were taken on the continental slope. We obtained one such sample, Slope Station 3, on August 28, 1962, at 39° 58.4' N and 70° 40.3' W, from a depth of 300 m. Its volume was 61 liters, representing 0.56 m2 of bottom. The sediment
