Resumo

We employ exact matrix elements for the reactions ${e}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${e}^{+}$\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\nu}\ensuremath{\nu}\ifmmode\bar\else\textasciimacron\fi{}${W}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${W}^{+}$ and ${e}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${e}^{+}$\ensuremath{\rightarrow}${e}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${e}^{+}$${W}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${W}^{+}$ to explore the observability of a standard-model Higgs boson and of ${W}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${W}^{+}$ scattering processes at a high-energy ${e}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${e}^{+}$ collider. We consider representative ${e}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$${e}^{+}$ center-of-mass energies of \ensuremath{\surd}s =0.5, 1, and 2 TeV.
