Resumo

A quantitative description of the vacancy aging process in amorphous thin films during their crystallization is made. It is shown that a thin-film effect to increase elastic deformations is likely to occur in vacancy aging thin films as compared with the corresponding deformations of equiaxed bodies. Stresses which arise in a vacancy aging crystal growing in a free amorphous film are determined and analysed. It is demonstrated that for certain (intermediate) values of crystallization rate the stress field in the crystal is of variable sign. The ways of stress relaxation are also analysed.
