In the movie Jogo de cena Eduardo Coutinho draws attention to a discussion that, although hidden in his other movies, is always there: the construction of characters and stories that are carried by the mise en scène and also by the elements of audiovisual language. This article intends to analyse how the cinematographic environment conceived by the director creates a manner of expression able to produce constructs of stories and a new narration style.
