The present report concerns observations on the influence of Asian influenza on the cardiovascular system of man.Initially it was planned to study fairly intensively patients with acute uncomplicated influenza. Unfortunately, however, the disease reached the New Orleans area in epidemic proportions in July and August, 1957, even before it involved other sections of the country, except for occasional small outbreaks among soldiers, sailors and travelers returning...Bibliography1.
