ResumoBrunner's gland hamartoma, a benign submucosal tumor, accounts for only 5% of all benign duodenal tumors.1,2 Often discovered incidentally at endoscopy or upper GI radiography, these tumors arise mainly in the duodenal bulb. They usually do not cause symptoms, although patients can present with GI bleeding or symptoms of intestinal obstruction. EUS is the best imaging modality for diagnosis. In patients with symptoms, surgical or endoscopic resection is performed and long-term prognosis is good.
