The neutrophiles, eosinophiles and basophiles all showed a large percentage with non-segmented nuclei, and the segmented forms were represented almost exclusively by those with only two nuclei. Furthermore, the nuclei differed from those met with in the ordinary shift to the left of infectious diseases, in that they had a remarkably regular shape with even contours. The protoplasm of the neutrophiles on the other hand showed fine even granulations, of the type seen in mature cells....Bibliography1.
