Resumo

Abstract Decomposition of CH4 to C and H2 on Ni/SiO2 catalyst was investigated with membrane reactor consisting of 90Pd10Ag alloy tube for the production of H2. Application of membrane reactor was effective for increasing the yield of H2 and consequently, CH4 conversion far exceeded the equilibrium conversion of closed system by using the membrane reactor.
