ResumoLEIOMYOSARCOMA OF SVC prevent rupture of an enlarged arch diverticulum.Extreme care should be used in dividing and oversewing an enlarged diverticulum, and adjuncts such as partial bypass or pharmacologically induced systemic hypotension should be used to decompress the aorta.Reestablishment of antegrade flow to the subclavian artery is highly desirable and can be easily accomplished by reimplantation of the subclavian into the carotid artery.
