Resumo

In continuation of previously described works 16 mono- and disubstituted thioureas were synthesized by known methods and tested for growth-inhibiting activity against autotrophically cultivated Chlorella vulgaris suspensions. Isoactive inhibitory values pc501) were determined from dosage-effectivity relations and used as activity parameters for structure-activity correlations. Simple and multiple regression equations are reported, discussed and compared with analogous QSAR of earlier tested series of related compounds (1-aryl-ureas, 1-aryl-thionreas, 1-aryl-2-methylisothioureas). Based on the assembly of all experimental results a linear expression between activity data pc50 and hydrophobic molecule parameters is proposed.
